The Quiz will consist of 30 multiple choice questions with one right answer per question. Time to answer each question is 30 seconds. Correct and faster answer will get more points than correct and slower answer. The Wrong answer will get zero points, of course! Winner will be based on cumulative points as identified by the Quizzing Software!
Submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentation
Themes
Abstracts of original research should contain maximum 300 words. Work published before in journals or conferences CANNOT be submitted. Abstracts of original research pertaining to the above themes with author/coauthor affiliations should be sent to E mail: kaucortevasymposium2024@gmail.com

Submission deadline: 10th January 2024
Notification of Acceptance : 12th January 2024
All submitted abstracts undergo review process by a panel of judges. Accepted abstracts are selected for oral or poster presentation on discretion of the panel. The decision of the Panel is final and irrevocable.
Acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts will be sent to submitting authors by mail on or before January 10th, 2024. The presenting author must be registered for the KAU-Corteva International Plant Science Symposium. For registration, please use the online form, which is available at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_DKno3QnfELolHTMlv1XtFyLW09sw6Ma7FXCFpyESko/edit?chromeless=1 Authors should reconfirm their participation through E-mail on or before 10th January 2024. Upon payment of the fee on or before 10th January 2024, your presentation will be confirmed.
All accepted abstracts will be compiled in the conference proceedings (Book of abstracts) available online from 18th January 2024.
The poster sessions will be held on 18th and 19 January 2024. Poster number labels will be provided on site and will be placed above your poster on the board. At least one of the authors must be present at your poster during the entire presentation session and explain their poster (in not more than 5 minutes) to the panel of judges
Your poster must bring the printed posters in DIN A0 (841mm x 1189mm) or DIN A0 Oversize (882mm x 1247mm), upright format (Portrait). Posters must be organised into sections such as Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion. The letter size should be 20mm (font size 80pts) for headings, 15mm (font size 60pts) for author affiliations and 10mm (font size 40 pts)for body text. The posters should be printed on paper.
All accepted oral presentations will be in-person presentations, limited to 5 min and the recommended number of slides are 10-15. The oral presentation sessions will be held on Friday 19 January 2024. Send your presentation as early as possible but no later than one day prior to your scheduled slot for presentation. Presentations will be accepted only as MS PowerPoint
The best oral and poster presentation will be rewarded with certificate of appreciation.
